How Sightimate handles data and the terms for using it.

The service
Sightimate is for businesses: you must be at least 18 and use it for your trade. It lets contractors send scan links, receive phone captures of an opening and take measurements from them. Measurements are estimates for preparing a quote. The validation target is about ±1.5 cm across roughly 2 m; each measurement shows its own uncertainty, and some results are flagged for checking.
Verify before you order
Always confirm final dimensions on site before ordering materials, manufacturing or installing. Sightimate is not a substitute for a site survey, and you are responsible for decisions made with its measurements.
Your account, plans and payment
Keep your sign-in secure and your business details accurate; you are responsible for activity under your account. New accounts receive free trial credits for 30 days. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions sold by our payment provider and merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy, which charges your card, handles tax and sends receipts; prices exclude tax. A subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel it in Manage subscription; after cancelling, your plan and that month's credits stay active until the end of the paid month. Each new scan link holds one credit. The credit is used when the result is ready with high or medium confidence, and returned if you cancel the unused link, the customer does not capture within 7 days or processing fails; a low-confidence result is not charged. Monthly credits end with their paid month. Extra credits can be bought while a plan is active and stay usable for 12 months. If a payment is refunded, the unused credits from that payment are removed; credits already used are not refunded. A partial refund does not change your credits automatically. If a payment is disputed with your card issuer (a chargeback), we remove that payment's unused credits and cancel the subscription. We will announce price changes at least 30 days before they apply to your next renewal.
Your customers
Only send scan links to customers who agree to capture their property for your quote, and tell them what the capture is for. Use customer contact details you keep in Sightimate only for your work with that customer.
Acceptable use
Do not use Sightimate to capture people without their consent, to collect data unrelated to measuring, to attempt to access other accounts, or to disrupt the service.
Your data
You keep the rights to your business data, your customers' captures and your measurements. You allow Sightimate to store and process them to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes
Sightimate is in a pre-launch phase. Features may change, and the service is provided as is, without a guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. We will tell you about material changes to these terms.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Sightimate is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by measurements that were not verified on site, and its total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Sightimate in the 12 months before the claim.
